Every year we offer a calendar of trips and retreats as part of the Mektoub Moroccan Henna Journey experience. Next on the calendar for 2024 is our Marrakesh Creative Retreat.

Your journey hosts are four artists, creators and travelers.
Kenzi and Jenpa have worked lovingly to bring you an experience that captures the best of Morocco, Moroccan henna, and the Moroccan culture they've come to know and love. Both seasoned henna artists with expertise in regional Moroccan styles, their mission when creating Mektoub was to create an entry point into Moroccan henna that would help spread awareness and interest in these traditions that are so little known outside Morocco.
Our assistant hosts at Mektoub are Monique and Leila. Monique is an accomplished perfumer, esthetician, and henna artist who brings her extensive knowledge of beauty, skincare, and bathing culture to our Mektoub trips. Leila joined the team after her journey as an attendee at our 2022 event. Fluent in 5+ languages, Leila's help with translation is invaluable, and her extensive experience in the hospitality industry keeps her well prepared to help make the Mektoub experience run smoothly and feel like home. And, as a Moroccan woman with her own cultural experiences, she adds a valuable perspective to the Mektoub team.
